The High Commission for Pakistan, Canberra would like to request that the envelopes sent to the High Commission for consular services must clearly indicate the “Driving Licence Verification” on the upper right corner of the envelope. Unmarked envelopes may end up undelivered/returned to the sender.
Procedure of Verification/Conversion of Driving Licenses (For Pakistanis living in Victoria Only) All Pakistanis living in Victoria are hereby advised to adopt the following SOPs which have been agreed upon with VicRoad for verification/ conversion of Driving Licenses: a) The applications for verification of driving licenses should be submitted to Pakistan High Commission, Canberra as mention below but they do not require to submit the NOC/Verification Letter from Pakistan. b) Upon receipt of the application, Pakistan High Commission will verify the Authenticity of driving license from the concerned driving license issuing authority in Pakistan. c) The completion of the process may take up to 4 – 8 weeks. Please note that we have no control over replies received from license issuing authorities in various districts of Pakistan. In some cases, they take a long time to reply and we must wait for verification from their end. d) After verification from Pakistani driving license issuing Authorities, Pakistan High Commission will send confirmation/verification email to the both VicRoad and the applicant. e) VicRoad will then process the document for the final conversion of Driving License and will inform the applicant thereof. Documents Requirement • Application Form for DLV duly filled in and signed including statutory declaration • Applicant’s copy of Pakistani Passport attested by Justice of Peace (JP) or Police Station • Applicant’s copy of CNIC / NICOP attested by JP or Police Station • Applicant’s copy of the Pakistani driving license attested by JP or Police Station • Processing fee is A$ 20.00 and Mode of Payment should be ;

With the introduction of an amazing feature named Driving Licence Information Management System (DLIMS) by Punjab Information and Technology Board PITB, it will be easy for you to issue a driving license. It is a digital system through which you can apply for an online driving license in Pakistan. Driving License Issuance Management System (DLIMS) Phase-II automates the processes for driving license issuance, renewal and upgrades. These activities are carried out throughout the province of Punjab.

Procedure of Verification/Conversion of Driving Licenses (For Pakistanis living in NSW, WA, QLD, SA, TAS & NT) Applicants from New South Wales will apply only at Consulate General of Pakistan Sydney for their driving license verification. In case of Pakistani Driving License, they should first be verified from the license issuing authorities in Pakistan by obtaining a NOC / Verification letter from them and thereafter have them attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad or its Camp Offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar & Quetta and thereafter sent to High Commission or Consulate General for attestation in original. Documents Requirement • Application Form for DLV duly filled in and signed including statutory declaration • Applicant’s copy of Pakistani Passport attested by Justice of Peace (JP) or Police Station • Applicant’s copy of CNIC / NICOP attested by JP or Police Station • Applicant’s copy of the Pakistani driving license attested by JP or Police Station • Postal Money Order / Certified Bank Cheque / Bank Draft for the processing fee amounting to AUD $20.00 payable to Pakistan High Commission, Canberra • Pre-paid, self-Addressed Express or Registered Post Envelop for the return of the document • No Cash is accepted in any case. • Please note Consular fees once deposited cannot be refunded
